and the NFB’s film collection The Many Faces of Afghanistan

A screening of the documentary The Sweetest Embrace: Return to Afghanistan

followed by a discussion with the director, the film’s main subject, Soorgul Sakai,

A screening of the documentary A Dream for Kabul by Philippe Baylaucq
(with French and English subtitles)
followed by a discussion with the director and other special guests
On March 4 and 11 at 5 pm, an exclusive visit of the exhibition AFGHANISTAN: Hidden Treasures and a performance of traditional Afghan music will precede the screenings.
Both evenings will take place at the Canadian Museum of Civilization Theatre
